The International Journal of Production and Maintenance Engineering (IJPME) is an open access quarterly journal that publishes papers involving conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design, development, testing and optimisation of products, systems and operations; alternatives and models in decision making; models for environmental, social, and economic evaluations; probabilistic and statistical methods for system analysis; queuing theory and analysis; control concepts and techniques; reliability, maintainability, supportability, and environmental, social, and economic feasibility; logistics management; trends in global agile supply chain management. Industrial organizations, productivity and competitiveness; analysis of acquisition, process development, and resource utilization; analysis of operational issues; improvement of organizational overall performance and competitiveness through the use of discrete simulation modelling and other computer software packages.
